ALPHA DRIVE COMMENTS
When learning to drive, most learners would only experience a relatively small area throughout their driving lessons. In this time generally the road condition is good, weather fine and guidance is always on hand if required. After passing the driving test this all changes. Many take naturally to their new surroundings and adapt quickly and effectively to the ever changing world around them. But for others, there may not be the need to travel outside a familiar home town, or worries and concerns may prevent this happening. The Pass Plus Course will help new drivers apply what they have learnt in the comfort zone of their familiar local area, and take this into new unknown locations, where the roads whilst similar in features may be totally different in style, layout and traffic volumes. Different types of country roads will be experienced, new urban areas explored, and most importantly motorways will be heavily discussed and practiced. There will be additional advice regarding night driving and all weather techniques, which will help prepare for harder driving conditions that lay ahead. The course will make new drivers (of any age) more rounded and experienced on the road, and therefore much safer to themselves and others. With modern technology available these days, we will learn and make use of a Sat-Nav to plan and aid some of our routes.
